Heavy Nicotene Staining and How to Treat for Undercoat and Gloss

We are in the process of buying a home from a couple who have been very heavy smokers. All of the rooms are emulsioned, with white gloss woodwork. All of the doors are white colonial in design. Some of the 'white ceilings' are a light brown.

Will cleaning with sugar soap be sufficient to prepare the surface prior to putting on white emulsion (ceilings). if so, what dilution would I use?

How do I treat the woodwork prior to undercoat and white gloss? Would the doors require the same treatment?

Scrub the walls, ceilings and woodwork with Grime Go - link here https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/DIY-superst ... y-can.html

This should remove pretty much anything. Sugar soap is great for light staining but if it's heavy and tarry, like nicotine, Grime Go is more suitable.
