Hi All

I have taken off all the tiles in the bathroom but am not sure what the surface is beneath. Could someone take a look at the photo I have attached and let me know what it is and what I need to do to prepare it for tiling.

Any help would be gratefully received. Am at an impasse.

Thanks Tom

I guess it's a concrete wall.

You need to remove all old tiles and clean remaining in concrete wall.

You can follow instruction how to put tiles in a wall by watching a video.

Hi if I look behind this surface there is brickwork. Is this concrete layed on top of the brickwork?

I guess, it's either mortar mix or grout. You need to remove that before you install a new bathroom wall tiles.
