Putting up Lining Paper on Plaster Walls in Nursery

hi there,

i've been preparing a room to become a nursery in october so i've got my work cut out trying to get it done in time!

i've stripped the old wallpaper off using a steamer (which was fantastic) and underneath were some badly painted walls and a few patches of bare plaster. i've scrapped the paint to get rid of any flaky bits and sanded to get a nice smooth finish but was wondering whether or not to paint the areas of exposed plaster before i put up lining paper.

should i bother or just go over with lining paper?

thanks in advance!

you can use the wallpaper adhesive to size bare patches it will dry while you are cutting and rolling the paper.
