Radiator Paint Used When Prepping Wood Pannelled Wall

I have embarked on prepping a wood panelled wall for painting
I picked up the wrong tin of paint from shed and instead of priming the wall I put my radiator paint on it !!
Do I sand down then re prime ??
Feel so stupid !!! X
