What to Seal Oil Stains From Cooking Before Painting With Emulsion

Could some please advise how, and what to use, to block out oil splash stains from cooking, before emulsion painting the wall again

Scrape off any excess fat off walls and apply a coat of zinserr stain block to affected areas and allow to dry before painting walls
