What's the Best Gloss for Painting Doors and Bits

Hi.
I have task ahead of glossing all doors and bits on my new doer upper.
Last time I glossed my old house I used some 'fancy' quick dry non drip rubbish from dulux... I noticed very soon after that the slightest scratch (even picking at it with fingernail) took it off. Eventually in sheets!
Now, a few tears back when I glossed the place when it dried it was indestructible! Proper old school gloss... Simple question, what is the real hard wearing stuff? You know, feels like the door has been dipped in plastic!!

Thanks

Always purchase gloss from a decorating trade centre and not a diy centre, trade paints are far superior, Dulux,Crown, gloss to name a couple are good, but you dont mention undercoat, you should always rub down woodwork and then undercoat and gloss. Gloss over gloss does not key and if knocked starts to peel.
