I have just used lining paper to l paper my hall which was previously painted with vinyl emulsion. Having prepared the walls by rubbing down and washing down with sugar soap, I proceeded to paper the wall and having done so, most of the paper appears to have adhered to the wall fine, but some sheets the edges have curled upwards. I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas why this is happening and how I might be correct the problem.
