I'm planning to paint some large wooden wardrobe the same colour as my wall. My question is how to do the make sure the colour is the same. Does that mean I cant use chalk paint and have to use emulsion on both.

Hard to get "the same". Need to check painting one and other. After few months it will change difrent hue...
