We've recently had the house painted with white vinyl matt paint & then had a carpet fitted on the stairs & 3 bedrooms upstairs. We've came home after the carpet fitters had left & there's black marks everywhere up the stairs & at least a few in every room. They're either off the shoes or the edge of the carpet I'm guessing.
Does anyone have any advice on how I'd get the marks off or would the walls need to be completely repainted?
