I wish to paint a plastic soil pipe, which is INSIDE the house, to make it a feature, with gloss paint.

What preperation and coatings should I use?

Rub it down to provide a key and gloss straight on. No undercoat which will crack as the pipe expands/contracts which gloss does not.
