Polystyrene ceiling tiles

I have a whole house full of polystyrene ceiling tiles which i dont like.Does anyone know if you can artex straight over them or have i really got to strip every ceiling?? :(

Never found anything that will stay on them to cover them up for more than a week Boze....See the project on removing polystyrene tiles, if we had found anything in the last 30 years believe me it would be in there!
