An attached garage has been converted into a utility room and needs a new waste gulley. Is it ok to simply feed the gulley outlet through the side of an existing inspection chamber to discharge into the sewer? There are no solids involved just sink and washing machine waste.
Thanks for any advice

jerympatrick,
Yes but your LBA may wish to be involved so a pressure test can be carried out. If the IC is part of an adopted sewer, your LBA will expect to be involved from the start.
Suggest you ask.

Yes but the BCO will have to inspect and approve the work you have done.

hi
Make sure you use a back inlet gully (trapped)
or you will get the smell from the drains coming back up.
