Hi,i would appreciate some advice about wetrooms,i have already succesfully installed one in a 1st floor bathroom last year, that particular case involved fitting a preformed fibreglass tray onto the timber floor joists etc.I have now been approached by a customer who wants a wetroom, this time her 1st floor is a conrete slab, personally i dont think this is at all possible but has anyone aware of getting over the waste problem without major works, your advice will be most appreciated.[/b]

can be done, by either digging up concrete floor and installing a gully sloping the new concrete towards the waste. Or by fitting a shower tray with only the waste sunk into the concrete. A pump can be fitted to the waste to get rid of the water, these have a flow sensor on and the pump comes on as soon as the water starts to flow. I think Whale is the make of the pumps my company use.
