hi can someone tell what showers work with what type of heating system?
mixers? power showers? thermostatic? electric?
on combis? direct systems? indirect systems? pumps?
ive installed plenty of electric showers as they are directly from the mains. im a carpenter but over the last 12 months benen drawn to bathroom fitting too. I do my own plumbing on the kitchens so am capable of soldering, pipe bending waste routes an d problems to fore see.
When do take a feed from the tank and when from main?
i also read that if you take a feed from both water storage tank and from CYLINDER that they have to be a direct feed(so not serving any other taps etc.) ? is it a simple job connecting into the CYLINDER?

chipster,
Impossible to give you a global answer - too many questions.
On a combi system the shower will need mains cold.
On a gravity fed conventional system without pump you'll probably get away with connecting the shower wherever is convenient. If you add a pump you will have to be more careful with supplies and will probably need separate supplies from tank and cylinder.
