Toilet attached to pump system in Bathroom?

I have recently had a new bathroom installed along with a pump to cover the bath, shower & basin, the problem is that the plumber has also attached the toilet to the pump system (we have another bathroom with similar setup but loo not attached to pump) This means each time the loo is flushed it sounds like a macerator loo and is rather noisy. Should the loo have been attached to the pump? Is it possible to detach it and have it work separately from the rest of the bathroom?

Well is it a macerator ?

It must be - there'd be no other reason to connect to a pump.

Thank you for reply but no, it isn't a macerator toilet, it is a normal wall hung one attached to a hidden Grohe cistern. Is it fairly straightforward to disconnect from pump?
