Advice With Removing Shower Screen From Siliconed Bracket

Hiya i wonder if anyone could please advise me how to remove the glass shower panel from the wall bracket, we fit it about a year ago but want to move it as it leaks all the time from the attached door fitting, my plan was move it nearer the bath rather than central where it currently sits.
The door removes easily but we cant get the panel out of the bracket to get to the screws to remove from the wall because of the silicone inside the bracket holding glass intact.
I was going to try the silicone eater but read bad reviews and only read about using that around bath etc, i cant physically touch the silicone where it is, hence why i was going to pour silicone eater down the top joint.
Many thanks in advance, and thanks so much for reading.
