What'sthe Best way of Removing Floor and Wall Tiles from a Bathroom?

by smudger2468 » Mon Apr 20, 2015 4:56 pm

I'm looking to remove existing floor and wall tiles in my bathroom and replace with better but do not know the best way to do this? Assuming I use a hammer and bolster this would leave a residue of adhesive on the walls and floor. Is there a recommended way to do this to leave the areas ready to lay/apply new tiles to?

once you remove the wall tiles, use a steam stripper on the adhesive, it will scrape off easily. The floor tiles will probably be cement based adhesive, so a hammer and bolster is needed
