LED mirror feels hot to the touch and bulb glows in dark

Hi
Last April (2014) I employed a builder to turn my bathroom into a wet room. I have an led mirror with a built in shaver socket. There is a pull string to switch on or you can move your hand across a sensor to switch the light on/off. The last month or so I have noticed that the led lights 'glow' in the dark as if they are not fully off. Yesterday cleaning the mirror it felt hot to touch and I'm a little worried that this could be a fire hazard.
Would welcome your thoughts and advice.
Thanks
