Safe Bath Repair Method for Bath in Ensuite

Hi!could any kind soul advise me on which bath-repair products are likely to be safe?I have an ensuite off my bedroom and the landlord wants to repair the bath-I have heard that the solvents are not great and the window in there is small.
Is there a safe kit anyone could recommend?do they leach into bath water?Would the current holes leach into the water?
