Tool for Removing Nut That Retains Cartridge for Mixer Shower

Can anyone give me any tips on removing the nut that secures this cartridge? Is there a tool I can get?

I looked at the pic and cringed,not much hope there,maybe some heat/wd40 and a box spanner
