Hey guys,

I have recently had an issue with the tap in my kitchen. It is a lever tap and recently when lifting the tap for cold water, there is little flow of cold water. However the cold water in my Bathroom work fine.

Also another issue derived from this would be my washing machine, which is right next to my sink. The washing machine does not fill with water since the issue with the tap started.

I have tried unscrewing the pipe that connects between the washer and tap however I found nothing.

I am assuming the problem with my washing machine is caused by the tap however I am not sure what to do? Looking online people are suggesting its a airlock?

What do you guys think?

Unusual to get airlocks on mains cold water, have you had any plumbing work done or have the waterboard been working outside causing a blockage in a isolation valve
