Expansion Issues and Gaps for Bathroom Flooring

Can you tell me if its OK NOT to allow a small gap for Aqua laminate tiles on a bathroom floor when the length is just over 6 feet and the width is 3 feet for most of the run (apart from the door section which is again 6 feet.
The laminate tiles are just over a foot in length and 5" wide and laid on a foam underlay; these titles are by Aqua Step (waterproof for bathrooms) and the manufactures said use the usual 10mm gap all around the installation.
I was planning to use white sealant around the edges to the skirting boards to seal everything, but wondering about expansion problems!
Any comments please.
Graham.
