Refilling and Turning on British Gas 330+ to get hot Water Back on

A plumber came this morning and drained my system to remove four radiators (no isolation valves) ready for a new floor being fitted on the ground floor of my house. He capped the pipes and left. I can't get a hold of him on his phone and my hot water is off. It is a British Gas 330+ condensing boiler (open system). Can i simply refill the system and turn the boiler back on to get hot water?
