Accessing waste pipes for cleaning

Hi

Many thanks in advance for any advice about this:
If a bath's waste pipe has been soldered or glued in to prevent leaks, rather than being one that can be unscrewed, how can its interior be accessed when it eventually needs to be cleaned to get rid of the hair etc. that accumulates there and can block it?

Kind regards

Nick

Looks like you are gonna have to cut through the glued or soldered part to clean the pipes or it would be better if you could scratch the glue off from the joint and open it up.

Hi, blakeriley

Many thanks for your help. Doing it myself would be beyond my capabilities. Do you think that's a job a plumber could do inside a few hours, so fairly cheaply?

Kind regards

Nick
