Bathroom smell in 2 bathrooms in flat

by hhf » Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:54 pm

Hi all,

I’m in a flat, the building has only been up since 2017. There are 2 bathrooms and whenever I flush the toilet in both bathrooms I can hear a clanking noise followed by a sewage odour. The smell can last for a few hours.

I’m having a hard time getting hold of a plumber and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this before and what could be causing it?

Thanks

Hi hhf
Not sufficient information - where does the smell come from? Is it in both bathrooms? Do you have any air admittance valves? Are the soil pipes located under a suspended floor ?...........
Regards S
