Drainage during renovation of garden

I am renovating my garden. It's about 15m wide by 5m deep, enclosed on the 3 boundary sides by garden walls.

At the moment the roof drains through pipes which run to a very small rudimentary soakaway in the middle of the garden.

I am planning on laying a new patio and need to deal with the surface water when it rains. I'd put a soakaway cage in but it's not possible to do that and still be 5m from the house.

I can't run drainage to the front of the house and sewer system because the back of the house ground level is lower plus there isn't any access unless I dig under the house.

The soil is also quite clay based so drainage is slow.

What's the solution? How do i get around this problem?

Hi dmoblay
Provided your garden walls are not high install 3 or 4 soak away cages spaced across the garden about 1.5m away from the rear wall.
