Old shower pump replaced but new one not working Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Our old shower pump was getting weaker and eventually stopped working and gave off a burning smell. We have replaced the shower pump and the new pump won’t work. It makes a short noise when switched on but does not increase the shower flow. Can anyone suggest what might be the issue and help us resolve it? Have contacted a lot of plumbers but everyone seems very busy.

You do not give very much detail about the installation but if you have replaced old pump with a new one with the same spec then the most likely problem will be that you have an air lock in the pump. Clear this and the pump may work.
