Leaky tap

Hi please can you advise me on my kitchen tap that as leaked for a couple of months but is getting worse . As you can see it leaks from the centre is it a diy job I can attempt on my own or should I get a plumber in , can it be fixed or is it a new tap many thanks .

It's hard to say without inspecting it however it could be as simple as just needing the washer replaced
