Bath size dilemma with bathroom refurb

by dennew55 » Tue Feb 08, 2022 7:48 am

Hi

We are currently in the process of refurbing our bathroom and unsure what to do with our bath. The current setup has the shower (walk in 1400x800) and bath (1700x800 back to wall free standing) both are next to each other touching, almost gives that boxed in look with each other which was poorly designed. Our plan was to reduce the size of the walk in to a 800x800 cubicle and have the freestanding at 1700x800 but this still gives us both units next to each other nipping. We’ve had a few planners out who all comment on the tightness of the current sizes and have mentioned about possibly reducing the bath to1500?
Is that too small? I never normally use the bath but my partner does.

Hi dennew55,
If money is no object Suggest you get a bath with over shower and a door in the bath side.
Regards S
