Connecting cloakroom pedastal basin waste pipe to wall outlet constricted space

I have a telescopic P-Trap but its outlet is very close to the wall outlet so it's difficult to connect the two. Currently the only solution I have is an McAlpine flexitube but that puts a lot of sideways pressure on the p-trap.

I am thinking of changing to a bottle trap as it is more compact but horror its outlet is female push-fit but my flexitube is expecting to screw on (I would need a flexitube with two male endings). (see photo)

Any advice welcomed. Everything is 1 1/4 32mm.

(I'm starting to really respect professional plumbers!! I couldn't find one who was available)

Hi abingdonbodger,
Buy a 11/4” compression elbow and if necessary rotate the trap to give the space needed.

Hi StoneyBoy
My solution turned out to be to use a Bottle Trap which is very compact and gave me a few more CMs to play with and a shorter flexi-Pipe.

(the wrong type of connector ends was probably just my experience)

Abingdon Bodger...

Now I've got to do some tiling!!!
