Hot/Cold Switched on Shower Mixer

I've installed my shower mixer and have a problem where the hot/cold come out the incorrect way.

I've gone back through my photos and i've definitely put the pipes in the correct way into the mixer so can only imagine it's a fault with the mixer itself.

Anyone know of a way to correct this? I only have access to the front of the mixer now so can't adjust any pipework.

Hi bullbates1,
Very unlikely to be a fault with the valve, have you fitted hot on the left and cold on the right into the valve body?

Yes 100% they are in the correct way, i've gone through all the photos I took. I had wrapped blue electrical tape around the cold feed too. That pipe also feeds the basin which works correctly, and the loo which doesn't have hot water in it!

Attached an image of the install, cold vertical pipe is the left hot the right

Hi bullbates1,
Is it possible to fit the temperature control knob two ways with hot mark on the left or right?
Regards S

Possibly - I can try it in a week or so.

Would it make a difference though? Currently, the dial has the hot on the left and cold on the right, but turning clockwise gets colder (turning towards the hot mark on the dial).

If i flip the dial facing up, so the hot mark is on the right and cold mark on the left, i still rotate clockwise to get colder (which is still towards the hot mark)

Hi bullbates1,
Thanks for the drawing.
Is there a setting mark on top of the temperature dial, if not and the lever down vertically is the normal temperature setting then the dial is working correctly. If the dial being turned anti clockwise increases the temp it is working correctly.
