Exterier waste pipe fittings cracking and splitting

Hi all just wanting some advise. Exterier bathroom waste pipe fittings and kitchen waste pipe fittings have gone all brittle and are starting to split and crack. Yet ones inside house are fine. Make of them are floplast 40mm white plastic fittings . They have only lasted 8 years which isnt right .
I am thinking it must be uv or sun and heat and weather damage which has caused them to break down? The location of them means they are subject to the sun from mid day onwards .
I am thinking when i replace them to insulate them with foam roll insulation lagging so as to stop this ?

Any ideas or thoughts welcome.

Hi kt600,
White waste pipe is not uv stabilised. Replace all the exterior pipes with grey which is uv stabilised.

thanks for confirming my same thoughts. the soil waste pipe is also white as well as the guttering pipes etc .

if i buy some exterior pipe insulation this should protect the 40mm waste pipes.

not sure how long the white soil waste fittings will last .

why do they sell it in white ? should be banned or a note saying about uv sun light
