Installing stone resin shower tray with riser kit

looking for advice on installing a stone resin shower tray , using a riser kit

the riser kit uses sticky pads to install the adjustable riser legs to the underside of the shower tray , the underside is not totally smooth from where i assume it comes out a mold and i am concerned that the sticky pads may not get a good contact with the shower tray

i was thinking perhaps glueing a sheet of plywood to the underside first with the glue ( Gorrilla heavy duty adhesive) filling in the gaps and then installing the riser legs/pads to the plywood which would be smooth and more likely to get a good contact

has anybody done this or is there any reason i should not do this
TIA

Hi osirisluxor,
Suggest you buy some 2 part wood filler, use this the smooth the surface where the pads will fit. You will then avoid the possibility of rotten ply if water gets under the tray.
