Shower Diverter Issue - Head to Arm back to Head fails

Hi All,
Any Ideas please?
Diverter seems to be behaving odd. Following plays out
1. D-Valve Down, Shower On, Shower Head triggers. Switch to D-Value up, shower handset triggers, shower head stops. Switch back to D-Valve down, shower head doesn't trigger, shower handset stops.
to reverse this, I have to turn off the shower, set D-Valve to down and switch back on. Here's a video: https://youtube.com/shorts/2vgJGhClWRI?feature=share
