5 Drain covers on drive Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Hi,

Recently moved house.

Around 10 years old.

Redrow build, detached houses.

There are 5 drain/manhole? covers.

Would they be all connected to my property?

I want to open and have a look out of curiosity. Have been used to one waste water cover from a 1960s house, was straight forward if there were a problem.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Hi tastybeverage,
Lift off the covers and if the side branches go towards your house they are probably yours. Close the ones that are clearly not yours and make sure the reminder are active by running water in your house. You can then decide what action to take.
