Hi, I'm in the process of changing plastic light swithes to metal ones and have found obvious earthing points in all but the landing light switch. Here there are 2 earth wires attached to 2 neutral wires via a terminal block. Should I just link the switch cover to the terminal block? The back box is plastic and I think the smoke alarm is on the same circuit.

A note of caution.
Just because you can see earth wires does not mean they are connected. You do need to check all is as it seems.
