elecsa regitration

To register with elecsa they require that you must have a signed Health & Safety policy in place and a risk assessment procedure in place. Does this mean that any self employed sparky working for themselves employing no one else needs full written examples of both documents? If so could someone give me a few pointers as to what must be covered in the docs.

When you send in your fee and register for your assessment day. They will send you an information pack. In the pack you will find an H&S policy and a risk assessment proforma.
You just need to sign the H&S policy and I photocopied the proforma to use on each job. Very quick and easy to use. But they will guide you through this on your assessment day if your not sure.

Make sure all your other paperwork is up to date too (indem ins, qualification cert, calibration certs)

Good luck

Gary
