Bathroom Spots Have Gone Off

Help please!

Bathroom spots went off last night. Turned them on, they dimmed and then went off. :(

I've tried replacing all 5 bulbs, checked the wiring in the switch, no obvious loose wiring in the loft.

Any ideas please?

It is like asking the length of a piece of string. To help we need a lot more information. Are they extra low voltage? What type of spots. The comment "They dimmed" makes me suspect an inverter these reduce to volts from 230 to 12 and contain some electronic bits. Years ago we used transformers to do the same job so often called transformers.
