advice neede plz

Hi all
just been ripping ont our front room and just notiiced there is a junction box with 2 cables going in the 2 other cables going uot to feed 2 double sockets on either side of the bay window does this seem ok.

Hi Steve,
it seems like a ring with 2 spurs from same junction box, as long as all cores tight in terms. no prob. box will be rated for 30A.

How easy would it be to to add another socket to this would i be able to change it to a normal ring if you get my drift obviosly ill get a sparky to do this work for me.

So long as your sockets already comply with current regulations modifying what you have should be no problem for any spark. But if your existing sockets for example don't have RCD protection then this would also need adding when modifying and it is this that bumps up the price rather than just the adding of a socket.
