Replacing a Fan Oven Element

I'm about to replace a fan oven element and each of the three cable/flex require a simple 'push' connection.
However, the existing oven fly leads are very short and there's a real danger of loosing them behind the the back of the oven, so I would like to extend them.
The fly leads are obviously heat resistant and, needles to say, the extensions should also be heat resistant.
My quandary is what cable/flex to use?

Hi, I would try tying string to each core before unplugging them as to extend them is not easy! heat resisting flex as used for immersions may be ok but how will you join /insulate them? small porcelain connectors used to be the way but I haven't seen them for some time. crimps no good as won't stand the heat unless using bare ones with hitemp sleeving, but not readily available!
High temp single core fibreglass insulated wire can be found but only on 50M drums, costly!
I would go with the string retrievale method if at all poss.
good luck SPARX

Cheers.
You've identified all my concerns.
I'll have a go with a bit of string!
Simple things are quite often the most effective.
