Hi all,

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum or an faq as the search facility turned up nothing.

Basically I want to know if I can swap out sensors etc without tripping the alarm if the alarm system is inactive? Also I need to cut a cable (so I can run it under the floorboards) and reconnect it, again without setting the alarm off.

any help is appreciated, I don't have the instructions for the alarm's engineer functions.
