hi folks , i have an electrolux fan oven and grill ,it stopped heating up ,i took the back cover off and the element had burn marks round about the electrodes so i assumed that i needed a new element, i have fitted the new element but the oven is still not heating up the grill is heating up though , can anybody help to try an diagnose whats wrong thanks .

With electrics we don’t assume that can be dangerous. If the element was faulty then it could have blown the control for it but with a cooker tests for insulation resistance etc are really required once any parts are disturbed and for that you need meters so to be on safe side it seems you have not the skill or test equipment so better to pay an electrician to do the work, they are cheaper than undertakers?
