Just started and wondered how I go about pricing installing some sockets and light switches. Anyone help?

Think how long it will take, work out hourly rate, multiply by 1.99r as it always takes twice as long as you think and customer will always slip in extra point & not want to pay more....
Add cost of materials plus 15% thats normal,
add cost of certificates & registering job with L.A. through your certifying body, remembering time on P.C. to do it.
Add small sum for 'consumables' ie screws / plugs, wear and tear on tools, vehicle, calibration of test gear etc, it soon adds up!!
You can always be busy if you don't want to make any money; regards ,(40 years in the job, never out of work),SPARX
