Hi all
went to a friends today to connect an electric cooker, when i arrived i found it was to be connected to a second consumer unit. The 2nd consumer unit is supplied from the main c/u with 10mm t&e at a distance of at least 15 meters,it is 6 way and fully used. There is a ring circuit on it that feeds the kitchen a lighting circuit and a couple of radial circuits. For these reasons i did not connect the cooker and advised my friend that we should fit a modern c/u and run a new supply. My question is would 25mm steel armour be suitable for this.
I am part p, just need a little help to confirm this to be okay or any sugestions.
Many thanks in advance
