Bathroom Bonding (again)

Sparx,

Sorry to go on about this topic again but there's so much info going around that it's confusing me.

As far as I can see, all water service pipes are bonded together "in series" OK. Is this is then fed into an earth terminal within say the light fitting or similar but NOT directly to the CU?

If you have a copy of Trevor Linsley's BASIC Installation, it shows a diagram where the pipes are bonded together then fixed into the light fitting. Is this correct?

Thanks

Hi agn ,more or less right you don't have to bond to light as it should be sealed from access if suitable for bathroom.
17th edition regs due next year don't require bonding at all! but all circuits in bathroom including lights will have to be on rcd. at the moment its as I said, bond exposed metal work together inroom or central point nearby, and also connect to any other leckie powered equip. in room, except light,
ie towel rail at spur box etc
