Hi ANDY,
having looked at projects I feel there is some more to add!
There are several ways of wiring radials or 'tree' circuits each has merits;
First you can wire a 20A radial in 2.5mm if max floor area covered less than50 sq. mtrs known as type A3
Or a 4.0mm radial on 30/32A fuse/mcb if floor area less than 75 sq mtrs, known as type A2
In each case you can spur one dble skt or one fused connection unit from each one one on the main run, bearing in mind you can only run hor/vert between outlets & all work comes under part p of bldg regs so can only DIY if reg. with local building control first, & fee paid or you use regd. person to do the work, Regards SPARX
