Are there any left hand switches on single gang 13 switched wall sockets?
I guess I could just turn the socket upside down but it will not look right will it?
Any help appreciated
Many thanks

Fantastic question, I'm assuming that it's a single socket-outlet as most doubles have left and right handed switches on them.
Why would you want such a thing? Is there an obstruction preventing the operation of the switch?

Hi. interesting question which I had never realised was so !
Reason always on right hand side is not for righthanded people but because Live is on right hand side & since most outlets are single pole switched manufacturing easier with switch on same side.
Looking through many catalogues and nothing, sorry,

Thanks for your advice.
I had a reply from MK and the answer of no such product.
My problem was the difficulty of reaching the switch on the other side of a plug in transformer.
Looks like a convertasocket, or a 2 gang backbox with outboard switches will be the best I can do.

I know it doesn't help here as you want to be able to stop a transformer draining power but there is an option of a switchless socket (you could combine it with a remote switch if it's on a spur. I don't know if that would complie with part P though.
