The light fixture in my bathroom has two lights; one on either side of the mirror. One bulb burnt out and I waited a week or 2 and the opther one burnt out. I had just one bulb and installed it in one side and it worked for a few weeks. IT then would sometimes flash byut not turn on when turning the switch on. I replaced both bulbs and they only dimly flash for a moment but will not turn on. What should I check ?

Would need to know what lamps you are using & is it possibly on a dimmer.

not sure how to describe light fixtures; just standard ones that use a regular light bulb and there is no dimmer switch.

How long has it been installed, I'd stop using it until the problem is solved. Isolate it!
