My son owns a flat with no wet heating so his airing cupboard simply houses the immersion heater, which is only switched on at certain times to heat hot water and of course is lagged. He is talking about putting a small oils filled radiator into the bottom of this cupboard to air off his clothes. The temp will obviously be set to the lowest setting. What do you guys think of this idea and/or the ramifications of it?
Thanks
Dave

hi, don't do it!

OFR's must never be covered in anyway, it's printed on them, so if clothes fall down onto it it could overheat if the stat fails-not unknown
