Ive changed a bulb in an outside pir security light, which looks like this Ask "http://www.bdc.co.uk/lighting/security/lanterns/santos-m-scan-lantern-MM18015.html", about 3 hours ago, but now it wont go off as it should do after about a couple of minutes like it did before.

What do I need to do to fix it?

Try switching off at switch & switching on again, then go inside and leave it, if it doesnt go off youll have to alter the timer setting on the side of the pir, if it still doesnt turn off, buy a new one !!!

I suppose you know that if they are switched on and of twice or more in rapid succession they do stay on ? (most do not sure about that one )

then you have to switch them off for a few minutes to restore normal operation

When changing the lamp did by any chance adjust the settings by accident?

It's possible that there were 2 faults . 1 blown lamp, 2 faulty fiiting and that 1 masked 2.
Change the fitting as it sounds to me as if the lux sensor in the fitting is faulty.

I dont know if youve managed to see the link I put, but theres no settings on it. Theres just a round bit at the bottom with the pir bit under it but nothing to adjust.
